The Yoke of Potency appears to be a brand new yoke sized for two Crdlu, carved from pure white wood and decorated with copper fittings. When the yoke is placed about the necks of a pair of Crdlu they act as if they had the strength of ten animals, and need no rest of food to work for a whole day. The Yoke may be used on the same pair only one day in three without side effects. If used more often the Crdlu lose one point of Physical each day after the first that the Yoke is used in succession.
